Terms of Service

Gigas is a free platform for creating and playing live multiplayer quizzes. Games run over peer-to-peer WebRTC connections between participants’ devices. The host must keep their browser tab open for the duration of a game; if the host leaves, the room closes. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Provide accurate information when you register, and notify us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any applicable law or infringe the rights of others;
• Upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

You retain ownership of the quizzes, questions, images, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to use it. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display Your Content for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Gigas and is protected by applicable laws. Gigas is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Kahoot! in any way; Kahoot! is a trademark of its respective owner.

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gigas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
